We are delighted to announce that the website for next year’s annual conference of the British Society of Gerontology is now live.

The Centre for Social Gerontology at Keele University are hosting the conference which will be held from Wednesday July 11th to Friday July 13th 2012.

We can promise you a stimulating academic programme with Professors Toni Calasanti (Virginia Tech, USA) and Murna Downs (Bradford Dementia Centre, UK) as confirmed keynote speakers; great food and drink including a ‘Taste of Staffordshire’ conference dinner; fun social events including a wine reception, performance and exhibition at the New Vic Theatre, and fireworks over Keele lakes; and comfortable and quiet en-suite accommodation.

For BSG members, we are keeping costs to the 2011 and 2010 levels; non-members who join BSG as part of the conference registration process, can save £20 (£30 if you are a student!). We would encourage you to register early to take advantage of the preferential rates!

The 2012 organising team look forward to welcoming delegates to our beautiful campus.
