Summary: Netwoking is part of the very nature of intergenerational practices which always involve connecting different people and/or agents. Simultaneously, there is an increasing concern and interest around all kinds of networks. Therefore, EMIL is at a crossroads between networking among stakeholders already involved in intergenerational learning and networking to reach out to, and implicate, European actors still unaware of the potential and benefits of intergenerational learning. Both endeavours lead us to pay close attention to processes able to make networking more effective. Consequently, and taking into account EMIL's aims and objectives and target-groups, this thematic group shall look at key European aspects in networking such as: easy accessibility for new partners who wish to contribute to the aims and objectives of our network; participation so that tasks in our network aretransparent and open to all partners who wish to contribute to the planning and realization of decisions and activities; sustainability in our strategies towards establishing a permanent and sustainable EMIL network; dissemination strategy; quality management of EMIL as a learning network; and analysis and evaluation to assess whether the structure and outcomes of the activities in the network meet the intended aims and objectives.
